Goosberry and Apple Crumble
60g brown sugar
Cinnamon to taste
4 peeled apples
- Pre-heat oven to gas mark 5
- Add the gooseberries and sugar to a saucepan and cook on a medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Rub the flour and butter together to a breadcrumb consistency then add the brown sugar, oats and cinnamon.
- Peel and chop apples into slices, then mix with the gooseberry sauce.
- Pour into a baking dish and cover with the topping.
- Cook for 30-40 mins or till the top is brown and crispy.
