Bake of the week! GF & Vegan Single Crumble.

Sorry guys, our recipes have been getting a little boring. But no more..... After today that is. The reason behind these bleugh recipes is that we were running out of flours and gluten free flours are not so easy to come by. Alas, we received a shipment of the finest flours known to man yesterday so you need to prepare yourselves for the awesome of next week's bake. Although, for now, you'll just have to make do with our Nectarine and Apple Crumble!

GF/Vegan Nectarine and Apple Crumble serves 1


50g all purpose gf flour
35g oats
20g butter
20g sugar

1 nectarine
1 apple
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp water

  • Preheat the oven to gas mark 6.
  • Chop up the fruit and lay it in a small oven proof dish. Then sprinkle the tablespoons of sugar and water over the fruit.
  • For the topping, mix the flour and butter together by rubbing them between your fingers until they resemble a fine bread crumb.
  • Stir the sugar and oats through the mixture, careful to maintain the texture.
  • Spread the topping over the fruit, then wack in the oven for 15-20 mins until golden on top.
  • Enjoy.
